The Department of English encourages and insists on the extensive use of English Language. It strengthens the liberal education of students by developing a deep understanding of language and literature, the value of critical reading and effective writing and richness of literature past and present. The learners are always made aware of the wide scope for their future. Efforts are on to enhance the quality of students by creating interest in them towards spoken and communicative English which can bring new opportunities for the students of this department
