Introduction


Our Department had been established in the year 2014 with Undergraduate Course. The Postgraduate Course in Chemistry had been established in the year 2018. The first batch of P.G. students will be pass out in the year 2020. 

In the Graduation Course there are two groups Bio group and Maths group. And there are 60 seats of students in Graduation Course. In P.G. Course there are 30 seats (in a semester).

At present Dr. Alka Shukla is the Head of the Chemistry Department. This Department is supported by Smt. Pushpa Bhowate as Lab-Technician. 

We follow the course syllabus of Hemchand Yadav University, Durg. To fulfill the course requirements we have library in which Text books / Reference books of chemistry are available and for the practical course we have following lab equipments.

Designed specially for taking accurate ph measurements with automatic temperature compensation with pt 100 probe and in chemical research laboratory & industries. " using high i/p  impedance pump & isi circuits ensures precision. The unit is operated with 230v ac mains. Regulated power supply ensures stable operation besides ph measurements. The unit can be used for measuring redox potential in its mv mode. Also slope control is provided for ph electrode deviation from the standard measuring modes.
