Introduction
The Department of Botany was established with the inception of college in 2014, with an aim to generate knowledge of Flora in the students and also to inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the Environment. Plants provide essential foundation of life on Earth .Therefore indepth basic and applied knowledge of the subject is of prime importance.
The initiative of establishing the Botany Laboratory was started in 2016 with meagre resources. Gradually , the Department is developing and taking shape in small but definitive steps.
